I have finally purchased this wonderful work of art by Rick Riordan after waiting for over a year!!! House of Hades is the fourth book in the Heroes of Olympus series and there's just so much in this book I have been waiting to read for so damn long. Will Percy and Annabeth make it out of Tartarus - the deepest pit of the Underworld -alive? Will Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, Frank, and Nico be able to reach Greece in time? Will Camp Half-Blood be saved, or have the Romans of Camp Jupiter destroyed the Greek demigods' home? What monsters and gods and titans will they face next? WILL THE SEVEN (plus Nico) STILL BE COMPLETE AFTER EVERY FUCKING THING THEY'RE GOING TO GO THROUGH??? 

i'd probably be dead after reading the book so bye in advance

I first learned about Logan when I saw the The Lightning Thief movie, and I instantly fell in love with him. Who wouldn't? Dark hair, blue eyes, and a cute I'm-that-socially-awkward-boy-who-lives-next-door smile. And now I'm jut obsessed with him. He's a wonderful actor PLUS he starred in a movie with my girl Emma Watson (and another movie with her is in the works). He plays PERCY FREAKIN' JACKSON in the Percy Jackson movies. He's socially awkward. He writes. Last but not the least, HE PLAYS GUITAR. WHO DOESN'T LOVE A GUY WHO PLAYS GUITAR

We had our immersion two weeks ago!

Hiiiii guys! My section (John) was the first to have the immersion in the third year! Wooooo! Go us! 

"How did it go?"

Oh it was AWESOME! We really experienced a lot. I was paired with Sofia Adolfo, and it was overall a pretty cool (yet hot) day. We got to cook and we ate this fish thing with soup! 

But then... the baby boy of our nanay, Eric, fell while playing with his cousins and his head had a cut! It was pretty scary because there was so much blood and he was crying so hard but we were able to bring him to the nurse. Whew.

In the evening, when we were in the retreat house, we had our open forum. It was a really nice feeling, to able to let everything we had hid for so long come out. Each of us was able to learn more about each other and we all became closer in a way.

So we finished the open forum at like, 1 or 2. Everyone was so sleepy we practically had to drag ourselves to our respective cottages/houses. One house had four rooms, every two rooms were connected by the bathroom. My partner and I slept in the other room with Bea and her partner Abigail (ssssh).

The trip home was very quiet, basically because everyone was asleep in the jeepney. When we finally arrived, everyone from the other sections were hugging all of us even if we were sweaty (ew i know).

The immersion was definitely a wonderful experience, I never thought I'd learn so much stuff even outside of the school (teachers, take note).

Another reason why I am PISSED THE FUCK OFF. See that sentence underneath "Quote"? That, my dear mortal friends, is the first line from the Great Prophecy. AND THEY CHANGED IT. THEY FUCKING CHANGED IT. It's basically supposed to be "A half-blood of the eldest gods shall reach SIXTEEN against all odds." Not seventeen. Not eighteen. AND MOST DEFINITELY NOT TWENTY. 

Now I quite understand why they would do this. They tweak Percy's (and everyone else that's not immortal) age to fit the movies. So basically, Percy was sixteen in the first movie, in which he was supposed to be twelve. It's all right, I guess, for them to do this. I mean it's not like they could re-cast again. That would just complicate things. Logan is the perfect Percy. Alexandra, well, most people might not see her as Annabeth (and she's twice Annabeth's age, surprise, surprise) but Alex is beautiful and great actress. I'm not mad. Just disappointed. They could seriously do better than this but oh well that's life and there ain't nothin' we could do 'bout it

Yes, I am an extremely huge Percy Jackson fan. I've read the PJO and HoO books so many damn times I know every single line. No kidding. 

Behold, the movie poster (or whatever you call this) for the Sea of Monsters. I won't deny it, I'm pretty excited. Greek mythology, Logan Lerman and his blue eyes (which are btw supposed to be green but hey I ain't complaining, it's Logan Lerman), sword fighting, Jake Abel, and did I mention Greek mythology? What geek like me wouldn't be excited? Oh, but that doesn't mean I haven't prepared myself for extreme disappointment. They already fucked up the first movie, and I appreciate their efforts into trying to follow the book a little bit more but have y'all seen the trailer?

The CGI for Tyson's single eye looks like shit, Grover seemingly wasn't kidnapped by the big bad Polyphemus and instead joins Percy and Annabeth on their quest for the Golden Fleece.

Clarisse!! Clarisse La Rue, ladies and gentlemen, is being played by Leven Rambin who is the definition of HOT. How am I supposed to hate Clarisse if she's HOT (not complaining, just pointing it out ;))

Let's move on and look at the brighter side of things. They didn't omit the Gray Sisters part, Annabeth's blond now (yipee), and um yeah that's about it.

So let us all sit back, relax, and wait (impatiently) for August and hope that this better be good. If not, I swear on the River Styx I'm letting Charybdis suck me in her little whirlpool and spit me out again for the rest of my life.

I am not complaining.

Ever felt that depressing feeling of not being able to go to a concert you want to experience so bad? Yeah, well I've felt that a billion and one times.

February 15, 2013. Day of our field trip. Yet at the same time, it was the day one of my favourite bands were performing in the MOA Arena. It was depressing, I tell you. But what makes it worse is that dad actually gave me a choice. "Field Trip or Paramore concert?" he had asked. GUESS WHAT I CHOSE. Yes, the field trip. And no don't think it was an easy decision. I had to contemplate the whole thing and even had a "looking-outside-the-window-while-thinking-deeply" moment.

Day came and my equally band-obsessed friend, Celina and I tried so hard to hold back our tears(over naman not really). But oh well, things happen for a reason and hey maybe Paramore's coming back in a few years... I hope.

February 14. Valentine's Day Thursday. Yes, I'm one of those bitter people who have nothing else to do than sulk in the corner because I am bigo and forever alone. Well no I didn't really do that but I like to think I did. This year's Valentine's was totally different for me though. My friends and I did this room-to-room thing and sang to the teachers because 1.) We love our teachers., and 2.) We love our schoolmates enough to help them get their classes delayed. I, of course, was one of the two guitarists (Naaaks:">). But our group's talent fee is very mahal so we only sang to the Grade 7 and Year 2. But me and Celina had another gig to perform to Ms. Adrias and SME but sssh it was a private concert, sorry you missed it :P

That same day, we celebrated Teacher's Day. It was extremely hilarious to see the teachers play games and try looking for chairs blindfolded, yet at the same time heartwarming, especially when the fourth year sang to the teachers (Awww). WE LOVE YOU, TEACHERS! Yes and you too Sir Gerano, we love you very very much even though you seem not to love us back.

Therefore, I conclude, that February 14, 2013 is probably the best Valentine's-Teacher's Day-First Ever Concert that Kicks Off Our School Tour (tickets available at ticketnot.com.ph) so far.
