Ginger with a soul

Edward Christopher Sheeran. More known as Ed. Or to us Sheerios, he is the Ginger Jesus. Why? BECAUSE HE FREAKING IS!!! Ed is definitely one of my favourite musicians EVER. His lyrics have more meaning than your life. The way he writes song is beautiful, he's a lyrical genius. He's the most adorable person on EARTH. He has awesome guitar-playing skills. He-- okay I'll shut up now, I could go on forever on how much I love Ed. He's just freaking amazing. Listen to his songs, love him, but he's remember that he's already mine and therefore you shall not take him away from me.

2012

I forgot to blog about the end of the world yesterday! Well hellooooo people, I'M STILL ALIVE. I didn't die *does happy dance* aaaaaand the world didn't end.

We''ll never know when the world is actually gonna end, okay? We never know when Jesus would come again to judge us, only He knows. So shut your mouth full of bull crap 'cause we ain't dying anytime soon but that doesn't mean we can't take chances and do shit for fun, right?

Misery

No, I am not speaking of Maroon 5's hit song. I am in misery. Complete, utter misery. I'm not bitter. I'm hurt. I gave all my effort and you don't even give me one-fourth of your attention. Okay. Gapautwas lang.

More like Gossip Guy.

Guess who's Gossip Girl? Dan. DANIEL RANDOLPH HUMPHREY. I know, I couldn't believe it either! Many were shocked! I mean, DAN?! Seriously? I was kinda expecting it to be Jenny, his little sister (and my favourite character mehehe) but nooooooo it's Dan. Up until now I still couldn't believe it. But why is he Gossip Girl, you ask? I don't know. I think it's mainly because of the fact that Daniel here wanted to be a part of the Upper East Side, but he wasn't one of them. He had no voice to speak up...and thus Gossip Girl was created. I'm not entirely sure if this is really the reason though, my friend Sam just told me this lol

XOXO

Gossip Girl has ended. After six seasons. After six years. The only show I actually made time for to watch on TV, the TV series that I deeply love, obsesses over and know by heart, has ended. Specifically last December 17, 2012. The world may not have ended, but for me it did. NO MORE GOSSIP GIRL! :(((( People say I should just go and find another show to watch, like TVD or PLL but noooooo nothing will ever replace GG in my heart. Fudge this.

xoxo, Gossip Girl

When you're FIFTEEN

Seriously, I don't know what I'd do without her. She's my fan-girl buddy in every single fandom I'm in(which is a lot). She loves Justin Bieber, One Direction, George, Cher, McFly, Ed... the list goes on. She's my go-to girl when I need to get all the "AAAAH"s and "OMG"s out of my system when I'm super kilig. Oh, and she's got a great fashion sense. Kirstie could be the Jenny Humphrey of AC for all I know. I love her. Everyone loves Kirstie. Your argument is invalid.

Happy fifteenth! <3

Before and After

Personally I like their old logo better. It was my whole childhood, for crying out loud. But you... which one do you like better? Before or after? ;)

Before

------------------------------------------------------------------

(six years) After

You must choose.

OH. MY. JONAS.

As some of you may know, I went to the Jonas Brothers concert in Cebu on October 20th. All I could say is.. IT WAS FREAKING AMAZING! Totally worth waiting half of my life to see them live!!! We [mom and I] were seated somewhere off to the left in the fourth row(thanks for the tickets Dad) aaand Nick, my husband, was located at that side of the stage! Shiiii I was DYING. Never thought I'd see him SO. DAMN. NEAR. Joe was at the centre, and Kevin off to the right side. There were even some extremely cute guys at the concert;) I was at my happiest state.

A few unforgettable things about the experience :

  • NICK AND I HAD EYE CONTACT. I'm not kidding. Seriously, I'd let you tickle me to death and put me in a room full of spiders if I were lying. NICHOLAS JERRY FREAKING JONAS LOOKED AT ME. Best thing a fan without a backstage pass could ever ask for :">
  • NICK WAS WEARING HIS DOG TAG. Now, if you ain't a fan you probably won't understand how important this dog tag is. Anyway, he's been wearing it since he was diagnosed with diabetes at eleven and up until now he's wearing it!!! I love how some things never change.
  • KEVIN SANG. Trust me, his voice was absolutely WONDERFUL. Kevin is known as the brother who doesn't sing much, just stands there and plays guitar to give his little brothers the spotlight. But, gosh, Kev has a beautiful voice! So deep and sexy and Jonas-y. SPOILER ALERT: He has a bit of a solo in their new song, First Time ;)
  • JOE TOOK HIS JACKET OFF. Yeah, that really won't be a big deal to y'all but damn that boy works out.
  • THE BAND SANG TURN RIGHT. First of all let me introduce "The Band" to you. It consists of John Taylor on the guitar, Jack Flawless on the drums and Garbo on the bass. Yes, we have nicknames for them. Anyway, they sang Turn Right, another new song. Talented people, they are.
  • WEDDING BELLS. No, I don't mean the actual wedding bells(though I do wish I'd hear the wedding bells chime soon, with me as the bride and Nick as the groom). Wedding Bells is probably my favourite song off their new album. Everyone except me shouted "MILEY" at the top of their lungs when Nick sang that. Personally I'm more of a Nelena shipper. NO TO NILEY. #nohate
  • THE CROWD. Everyone was standing on  their chairs, dancing to the beat, waving hands up in the air, shouting, and singing to every song they played. I just loved it ok. Every single person in the room united because of music. Music really IS the universal language.

Overall, the show was AAAAH-MAZING.

Westlife + Frank Sinatra = PURE AWESOMENESS

Told ya I loved them old stuff :P

Bon Jovi

Yes, I like the old stuff. Beatles, Queen, Aerosmith, AC/DC, MLTR, Michael Jackson..you name it. But the band I love the most? BON FREAKING JOVI. 'Twas my wonderful mother who taught me to love this group.

Firstly, I would like to introduce the lead singer, whom the band was named after, Mr. John Francis Bongiovi. He might me in his late forties now, but trust me, he was extremely fit in his younger years. Blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, heart-melting smile, and a six-pack-- everything a lady could ask for.

Next up is guitarist Richie Sambora. All I could say is...wow. He could rock out that guitar pretty well. I wish I could play as awesomely as him.

Now here we have David Bryan. One day we were watching a concert DVD while eating carbonara, and Kurt spotted him doing the head bang with his mass of blonde hair, thus earning the nickname "Carbonara Hair" from my brother.

Lastly, here is Tico Torres, the drummer with the creepy triangular mustache/goatee/beard thing on his chin. Tico also has a knack for painting. He is quite the artist.

Below are a few of Tico's artworks:

Awesome, right?

Phantom (Absolutely late post)

"OMG Dad! Gusto ko mag watch Phantom of the Opera sa CCP! OMG!" I screamed as I saw the ad for the musical on TV. I was half-joking, actually. I never really expected my dear father to GET FREAKING TICKETS TO WATCH THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ON THE EXACT PREMIER DATE.

Such a beautiful play. My mom and I were seated up front,(my brothers were not present and instead were in Star City since obviously they do not appreciate great classics like this. Kids nowadays. Tsk tsk.) which gave us great view of the actors and the famous chandelier. The sight of the chandelier falling was awesome, even though I got a bit shocked(No one was hurt, do not worry.)

The cast was great, their voices were amazing, the costumes were really colourful. All in all a wonderful experience for me. To those about to watch it, you won't ever regret it. You might even be seated next to a cute guy, like moi. ;)

Grey.

Gah, now don't expect me to be innocent. I tell you, there are no thirteen-year-olds in this world whose minds have not been corrupted by society. Except maybe for Ms. Eva Marie Sazon. She's too nice!!! Anyhow, let us now talk about Fifty Shades of Grey. Written by E.L. James, the Fifty Shades Trilogy obviously has a lot of readers. Word of advice, do not ever read this book unless you're of age and can handle reading the intimate scenes.

In my opinion, I find this book extremely ridiculous. Yes, the writing is exceptional but.. ew? What mother of two teenage sons would write all of her fantasies in a book? How does her husband feel about this? Her sons? Ugh. I am disgusted. What has the world come to now? First,Twilight and now this. Can we please just go back to those Harry Potter days? Please.

-ber months

Welcome,-ber months! Seems like the clock is ticking away time so fast, eh?

Palancas..

"Nice, palanca ko ha!"says Nang Becha with her signature grin.

My phone vibrates. It was a text from Nang Allymor: "Niceeeeee! Palanca!:)"

Nang Hannah, chilling by the door at the SME classroom, pulls me aside. "Gwapa, palanca ko ha."

"Gurl, hatagan mo ko palanca, ok?" "Nice! Nami-on mo palanca ko ha? Dapat two sheets of bond paper, back to back. Century Gothic, font size 12." "Nice, palanca!" "Nice, lapit nalang immersion namun! Diin na palanca ko?" "Ara lang da palanca box ko, gahulat nga hulogan mo sang palanca mo."

Seems like every friend I have in the Senior Year is asking me for this piece of writing called a"palanca". I have no idea how to make one, to be honest. How long should it be? What am I supposed to write about? Is it okay if I write it on Post-it notes? Too many questions on my mind yet to be answered. HELP ME?!

Football♥

So last Saturday we played this friendly game with the lads from Barotac Nuevo. Fun, fun, fun!

Unfortunately, I could only remember a of their few names;
There's Jed, the great Cheiffy's nephew;
Mark Lawrence, the goalie in yellow;
Lawrence, the other kid with that name; and
Zac, the kid with green hair(not literally) and is small but terrible.

Anyway, we had loads of fun. Everyone was obviously enjoying the game. Even Coach Rock cracked a smile one in a while.

We do hope to see them again soon and have another game! And maybe Jed could bring his uncle and the rest of the Azkals with him the next time. Heh.;)

The girls with a couple of the boys from Barotac:)

Most of the team, joined by..yes, you guessed right. The boys of Barotac.

lol

Who doesn't love them?

so basically I wrote a poem about this awesome group.
Here it goes....

Two are balding and wrinkly,
and the other half found six feet under.
These lads are from United Kingdom
Where people with sexy accents come from

My dearest Paul McCartney
Thanks heavens, he's still alive
The best-looking in the group
Although nowadays his eyelids seem to droop

Ringo Starr, my second favourite
For his name sounds awesome
He used to play them drums in the band
But I doubt he can still move his hands

John, oh dear John
He got killed by a fan
What psycho would do that
to the founder of the band?

And last but not the least, of course
Is silent little George
Poor Georgie had been taken too soon
But he never failed to make the ladies swoon

Yeah, thirteen might be young for you
But heck, I'm an old soul
These four lads..
They introduced me to rock n' roll

And...

They're THE BEATLES for crying out loud
Heaven forbid you not know them
Hear them play and you'll catch their fever
Ladies and gentlemen,
The best band since the 60's till FOREVER

with love,
 From Me To You xx

HAPPY 17th! :D

Late post. This was supposed to be on July 28 but whatever. Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my awesome now-college friends Rosieeee:">

this was taken in her pre-short hair + braces days
